Meat Candy

 

Ingredients: 

  1. 1 lb tender meat (ribeye, strip)
  2. 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  3. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  4. 3 cloves garlic chopped
  5. 1 tbsp MaD White
  6. 1 tbsp MaD Red
  7. 1/2 cup beef broth
  8. Green onion for garnish

Directions:

  1. Cut steak into 1” cubes
  2. Add them garlic, brown sugar, MaD White, MaD Red, Olive Oil to a mixing bowl.
  3. Let marinate for 2 hours
  4. Heat cast iron
  5. Sear meat in a single layer. About 4 min a side. Total 8 minutes
  6. Remove from pan
  7. Deglaze with beef broth
  8. Let reduce
  9. Add meat back to pan
  10. Finish with a dusting of MaD Red and White.
  11. Garnish with green onion.
