Philly Steak and Cheese Egg Rolls

Steak egg roll

1 lb tender meat (ribeye, strip or sirloin)

1 Tbsp Olive Oil

3 cloves garlic chopped

1 red bell pepper julienned

1 medium julienned onion

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp MaD White

1 tbsp MaD Red

1/2 cup beef broth

1 cup Monterey Jack cheese grated

Egg roll wrappers

Vegetable oil

Green onion for garnish


Cut steak into 1/2” cubes

Add tbsp olive oil to pan

Heat high

Add meat and sauté

Add onions, garlic and peppers

Sauté a few minutes

Add brown sugar, MaD White, MaD Red,

Sauté until meat is done.

Remove from pan Let cool.

Turn pan up to high and deglaze with beef stock. Reduce to a glaze.

Heat oil in separate pan

Lay wrapper flat

Add steak mix and cheese to the center of the wrapper roll and seal with a little water.

Fry until golden brown

Cut and use glaze as a dipping sauce.

Finish with a dusting of MaD Red and White.

Garnish with green onion.

And enjoy.
